Meet the Girls

Return to Home

I am the proud mommy to a beautiful calico cat named Bella and the loving girlfriend to my boyfriend of many years, Fernando. I am a big advocate of healthy eating and while I’m still not perfect in my eating habits, I fully appreciate the benefits of a dairy-free and meat-free lifestyle. I do still eat meat, however have phased a lot of it out of my life and happily enjoy many vegan and vegetarian meals each week. I am big on advocating consideration for the health benefits of eating less meat and dairy, and feel it is important that someone who eats everything in moderation share her voice. If everyone would swap just a few meals per week to vegan, we would live in a healthier, cleaner and more balanced world.

003.JPGI became a vegetarian in 2010 to become healthier. I had read a few books and some articles and was convinced that going vegetarian would help me battle some of my health issues.

This site is about a way to live healthier “on the go”.  Restaurant reviews, fast food, frozen food products, snacks, etc.  Not everything is going to be great for you but let’s be real, nobody is perfect 100% of the time!

We have been bringing you great “vegetarian” foods on the go for several years now and I’m looking forward to many more years to come!

  1. Hi Ashley and Jessica,
I’m running an A-Z Food Challenge on my blog and it would be really interesting to see how you gals tackled the food alphabet! If you’d like to write an A-Z Food on your blog, leave me a comment at http://alisonamazed.wordpress.com/2011/06/23/idea-a-z-food-challenge-join-me/ and I’ll be sure to come back and read your alphabet food posts! 🙂

Good luck on your project – it sounds like loads of fun! If we weren’t in the middle of a detox run and some other things at the moment we would definitely start up with you. Maybe in a little while 🙂

  3. Hello Ashley & Jessica,

    I hope you are well

I contacted you a few days ago with a partnership proposal in my mind. I didn’t receive your reply and I thought that maybe you had never received my email.

My Name is Alec and I work at seekinghealth.com, I was doing a weekly run through for some quality blogs in google, and I couldn’t help but notice vegontherun.com

I really loved some of your blog posts and I just needed to get in touch with you and find out if you would be interested in recommending some of our products to your audience

We offer a variety of products and I do think they’ll be highly appreciated by your audience

I can help review some of our products by preparing informative articles geared not only to provide valuable information to your audience but at the same time monetize your blog by referring your audience to our site.

In exchange you will be able to earn a 25% commission on any sale generated by any of your audience – A lot of our Affiliate partners with similar sites to yours are making a healthy income stream out of this 🙂

Please let me know your thoughts on this, I think it would really be a fruitful relationship between vegontherun.com and seekinghealth.com

PS: I can also customize a banner to fit on your side bar- this would really help a lot in creating awareness to your audience.

I am really looking forward to hearing from you

    Best Regards,
    Alec/Affiliate Manager,
