Quickie Post: Jumping Kitchen Bakehouse (Yum Vegan treats)

Just wanted to share what we found this weekend at the Commercial Beach Farmers Market in Fort Lauderdale:

This “bakehouse” sells at a farm to table restaurant in Broward but there isn’t much information online for them.  Looking forward to seeing where they will go from here…

Our Vegan Cuts Snack Box Finally Arrived and We’re So Happy!

We just got the box for our Vegan Cuts Snacks, yeah!  Their snack box (starting at only $19.95/month if paid on a monthly basis), included about 11 snacks that ranged from a couple of “electrolyte” pouches to a big bag of chai flavored popcorn (this flavor is new to me and probably my favorite snack out of the whole box).  Their snack boxes usually range from 7-10 snacks and you have other options for payment besides the monthly option.

How great is it to have new vegan snacks introduced to you EVERY SINGLE MONTH!  Expand your horizons, find more things out there that you can munch on when the craving hits.  We even got some Earth Balance Mac & Cheese and a very interesting “instant shiitake” pouch that only Ashley is brazen enough to try.

I actually kind of liked the BARNANA snack, made of just bananas and coconut but the kiddo was not having any of it- I think the smell of banana +brown turned him off but …. he’s 2 and hates everything that is healthy right now so I take it in stride.  More snacks for myself, I say.

Overall, I was pretty impressed with this box at less than $20.  Most of the boxes you get these days are at least $25.  Also, for those of you in remote areas and have a hard time finding vegan snacks- I highly recommend getting a box!
